Intro to Pole (Newbie)***
Never taken pole classes before? NO PROBLEM!! This intro class acts as an orientation to the pole fitness world!! We walk you through the whole process from walking through the door, properly cleaning your pole, what to wear, and of course, we cover the basic walk, fireman spin, and pose!! ***Even if you've taken pole before, we recommend that all students take our Intro to Pole to become acquainted with the foundations of proper pole technique. Plus, if you buy a pole class package, we will credit the cost of the Intro class towards your package, essentially making the class FREE! Ask your instructor for details and conditions.
Need to learn pole? We provide private instruction for female celebs and everyday women alike. These instructional classes are tailored to your individual needs and capabilities. Private lessons provide extra one-on-one attention and are ideal for those who want to learn pole without other students around. Private VIP Class Packages also available. Level 1 (Beginner)
Level 1 sets the foundation of the Sumara Pole methodology. We will begin your strength training by working your core, upper body, and introducing you to the inner thigh hold. You will learn the proper techniques for gripping the pole with your hands, arms, legs, knees, and ankles. Skills learned in this course include: Pole Holds (Core/Upper Body), Fireman (Ankle Hook), Front/Back Hook Spin (Knee Hook), Basic Pole Sit (Inner-thigh Hold), and the Basic Climb (1 Step). Level 2 (Intermediate)
You've gone through the basics, now let's take it to the next level!! We take the skills from Level 1 and build upon them by adding variations and a bit of difficulty to allow you to become more pole fit. Then we use that inner-thigh-hold you learned in Level 1 and teach you how to invert! That's right, it's time to go upside-down! Skills learned in this course include: Basic Inversions, Cross-Knee Release (Inner-thigh hold – NO HANDS), Intermediate Climb, and a whole new group of hooks and spins. Let's add a new dimension to your workout!!
PRE-REQUISITE: Pass Level 1 Evaluations
Level 3 (Advanced)
You've become a pole athlete! Why not go for the GOLD? Challenge yourself and train to be competition ready! Skills learned in this course include: Inverted Climbs, Twisted Grip Handspring, Drops/Falls, Aerial Static Holds, and Advanced Combos.
PRE-REQUISITE: Pass Level 2 Evaluations
Level 4 (Spinning Pole)
Broaden your repertoire of pole skills by adding the element of SPIN! CAUTION: Not for the weak or faint-hearted!! Dizziness may occur!!

Sexy Silhouettes (Beginner)
This is the class where inhibitions are forgotten and exotic divas are born. Can't find your sexy? Discover (or re-discover) what YOUR Sexy Silhouette looks like right here!! Explore sensuality and the various ways your body moves and flows. Learn how to gracefully transition from move to move while incorporating the pole, floor, and wall. Taught with the lights down low and the music slow, this class is sure to get you in the mood. Are you ready to get your SEXY on?
Barefoot, heels, or platforms. Knee-pads are optional, yet strongly recommended.

Pole Choreography (All Levels)
Every month we introduce a new pole routine! We combine Level 1 pole skills with elements of dance, floor work and an occasional prop. Take the class as many times as you need in order to learn and/or perfect all the moves. Advanced students can also benefit by easily substituting more advanced tricks and spins into the routine. Plus, three music options are provided every month, so that you're sure to have the perfect song for that special occasion, holiday, or just to reflect your own personal style.
Heels or platforms optional.
PRE-REQUISITE: Must have taken at least one Level 1 class
Booty Camp (All Levels)
Pole conditioning is essential for those who want to build upper body strength, sculpt, tone, and tighten muscles, increase strength and flexibility, and heighten stamina and endurance levels required for pole fitness. All fitness levels are welcome! This circuit style workout utilizes poles, yoga mats, exercise bands, chairs and other equipment to give you a full body, pole-empowering workout. We begin and end this class with a warm up and cool down and gradually work the entire body. This class is intense and will require a lot of water. Have your towels ready, let's break a sweat, and get pole fit!!
Please wear tennis shoes and don't forget your water. Knee pads are optional.
Open Pole Practice
Don't have a pole at home? Need to practice or perfect your pole skills and tricks? Here is your chance!! Work on those moves in our private pole practice room. This uninstructed open hour will allow you to practice independently or with a pole friend. Room features a 50mm chrome pole with 9' of climbing. The Pole Practice Room is available anytime during regularly scheduled class times. As Sara always says, “It's all about practice!” so reserve time to practice this week!
Open Pole Jam
Open Pole Jam is one part Open Pole Practice and one part Pole Party. Bring your friends and show off what you've learned OR come alone and meet amazing new pole friends. This Friday night social hour features a nightly demonstration by members of the Diva Dance Team, instructional how-to videos, music from yesterday and today, specials and more! Sign-up online or pay just $15 at the door (exact cash only). TGIF!
Each month we host a specialty workshop at the studio. Learn how to move like an expert and flirt with your eyes, lips, and hips! You will tighten, tone, and strengthen your physique, build your confidence, and become one with your sexy side!
Past and upcoming workshops include Belly Dancing, Strip-tease, Go-Go Dancing, Burlesque, Advanced Pole, Aerial Arts, and Breakdancing. Workshops are typically held on the third Saturday of the month, are taught by staff and guest instructors, and are 1.5 hours long.

Lap Dance Workshops
In our lap dance workshop, you will learn the hottest hip rotations, isolations, body waves, and booty shaking movements, and of course, the notorious strip-tease! You will be able to incorporate these empowering moves against a wall, on a chair, on the floor, and of course, in your partner's lap!
Lap dance workshops are offered year round. However, during the months of December and February, we put a twist on our traditional lap dance...
